We have had such a blast getting ready for Sukkot!
We learned that there are two mitzvot on Sukkot:
1.To sit in the sukkah (some people even sleep in the sukkah, wow!)
2. To use the arba'at hamininim (lulav, etrog, hadasim, aravot)
We spent time singing about these mitzvot. We also spent time writing about them in our workbooks, and we practiced using the correct gender and singular/plural tenses for the verb "to sit."
It is also very important to be happy on Sukkot! We reinforced that theme with a fun Sukkot sing-along with Morah Tali!
Our class will be forming a band to celebrate chol-hamoed sukkot! If you have any portable instruments at home, please send them in if you are comfortable doing so (some examples: bongos, tambourines, xylophones)!
Chag Sameach!
