Today we introduced our unit on Pesach by learning about the different names of the holiday:
חג הפסח-Passover
חג האביב-Holiday of the Spring
חג החרות-The Holiday of Freedom
חג המצות-The Holiday of Matzah
We learned that each name has a special meaning and significance. We also enjoyed solving riddles in which we had to figure out the name of the holiday based on clues given in Hebrew. What fun!
