Today 2C began learning about Yom Kippur. We learned that during the Ten Days of Repentance, between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, it is very important to apologize to anyone that we may have wronged. We also learned the word for "I'm sorry" in Hebrew, which is "Selicha."
In order to illustrate this point, we acted out, in Hebrew, various situations in which one would need to apologize. One example is when someone knocks down their friend's building. Please ask your child for further examples and feel free to brainstorm together other situations where one would need to apologize.
